The campanile is located in Mitcheldean in Gloucestershire. Visiting Ringers are very welcome by arrangement
The Michaeldene campanile simulator was built in 2016.
The six dumbells hang in three frames on 30mm steel shafts.
The wheels are 800mm in diameter and are constructed from two layers of 18mm MDF sandwiched between 12mm ply.
The weight of the bells is simulated by two steel plates 150x 150x 10mm, attached to the bottom of each wheel.
The simulator runs on Abel software and hardware supplied by David Bagley.
